From the very beginning of the church, baptized believers contributed to a common treasury to help those in need and to support the preaching of the gospel (Acts 2:45; 4:34-35,36-37; 5:1-2; 1 Corinthians 16:1-2; Galatians 6:6). We continue this practice today to accomplish the same goals.
The money we collect goes to a wide variety of things. Yes, it pays salaries of our staff and the bills to maintain our building, but it also goes to supporting outreach here in Paducah, Children’s Homes, church camps, preaching schools, and missionaries around the world.
