THE WORK OF THE LORD'S CHURCH AT BROADWAY CONTINUES TO ADVANCE!  This week, individual Bible studies continue to take place and God's word is spread house to house throughout the region.

1. The Kingdom of God has experienced much growth here at Broadway over the last couple of years.  Through planting the kingdom seed through Bible studies initiated by our members the Lord has added to the church many new souls over the last three years.  Regular Bible studies take place weekly in homes and offices throughout the community. 

 2.  Global Preacher Training Center is growing:  Broadway trains evangelists and teachers every week across the country and around the world. We have taught students from India, China, the Philippines, Uganda, and all over the U.S.  We spend six hours of instructional time per week using video conferencing equipment training them to carry the gospel to the world.  These classes are also being viewed by others around the world via the internet.  We now have active video classrooms in Gorlovka, Ukraine and Guatemala City, Guatemala.  Central America.  Classes are taught between Paducah and Denver every Wednesday night that all may attend.  Classes are taught all over the world 4 days a week.  A website has been established that provides classes for the whole world to access.

 3.  Biblion:  Bible Mysteries Revealed.  We have aired two seasons of Biblion, Broadway's television show produced by Kyle Lake at Prosper Media Group in Lexington.  The show premiered on NBC and on Comcast Cable in December '07 and January '08.  The show was used to reach out to the region and bring seekers in to our midst.  The shows aired again in June and July of '08 and the second series is on NBC in Paducah in February & March 2009.  The third season aired on NBC in Paducah in January and February 2010.

In addition, all of the shows will be on television in other markets in the country and are being distributed to the church worldwide as a teaching resource.  Pray for this effort to bring the gospel to the world in a format that will appeal to the people who do not know Christ! 

4.  Life Groups strengthen and begin a new year!  Small groups play a key role in Broadway's efforts to grow God's kingdom one family at a time.  Through our small groups (Life Groups) that meet house to house every week, we encourage one another in our Christian walk and we reach out to those who are not in Christ and teach them the gospel.  This is a vital ministry at Broadway.  It is quite popular, too.  The ministry is growing.  Leaders are being developed.  Families are growing closer to God.  Through small groups, friendships are being forged.  The word of God is being applied in our lives.  The kingdom of God is advancing and growing!
