Global Preacher Training Center

 In 2007, the Broadway Church of Christ worked with the Bear Valley Bible Institute of Denver and established the Global Preacher Training Center.  Using Polycom videoconferencing equipment, we have established interactive classrooms in Paducah, Kentucky, Denver, Colorado, Guatemala City, Guatemala, and Gorlovka, Ukraine.  Dr. Dan Owen simultaneously teaches students in Paducah and Denver, Paducah and Guatemala City, or Paducah and the Ukraine.  Likewise, Bear Valley teaches classes from Denver to students in Paducah, Guatemala City and the Ukraine.

Currently, videoconferencing classrooms are being planned in other foreign countries as technology abroad permits.  Teachers instruct classrooms of future preachers in their native lands from our facilities in the United States.  Through the Global Preacher Training Center, we are exponentially increasing our ability to teach the Bible worldwide and make disciples in all nations. 

In addition, the classes are recorded and are available over the internet.  The current library of classes from the past include series on:  Heaven & Hell, Christian Evidences, Gospel of Matthew, the Godhead, Phillipians, Ephesians, Galations, Colossians, 1 & 2 Thessalonians, Gospel of John, Revelation and Ministry Technology.  Although the recorded classes are not live and interactive when accessed on the internet, the tremendous library of classes that is being developed is accessible all over the world by teachers and evangelists to prepare them to teach the word.

Broadway is fulfilling one of the important needs of the church; to train more sound teachers of the Bible.  The Apostle Paul wrote, "These things that you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust to faithful men who will teach others also."  2 Timothy 2:2.

Broadway sees the world as its mission field.
