Gospel Proclamation -- Local Mission Fields
Locally, we train members of the congregation to be teachers who are prepared to speak to people everywhere about the Lord and actually strike up Bible studies with friends, co-workers and acquaintances. We recognize that we live in one of the great mission fields in all of the world, full of sincere seekers of God. We strive to make disciples wherever we go!
We reach out into the community through our small group ministry, our television program Biblion: Bible Mysteries Revealed, Youth and Children ministries, and other ministries. In fact, every ministry or program at Broadway strives to have an outward focus on souls because it is the primary mission of the Lord's church to proclaim the gospel to all creation. We view every person as a precious soul.
Gospel Proclamation/Evangelism -- Worldwide
Worldwide evangelism is accomplished through supporting missionaries in foreign lands, including Brazil, Africa and the Ukraine. In addition, Broadway has a missionary in residency in Dr. Dan Owen who trains preachers and teachers around the world, both in person and by using cutting edge technology. In 2007, Broadway founded the Global Evangelist Training Center (GETC), an evangelist training center which uses videoconferencing equipment to train preachers across the country and on the other side of the world. From Broadway, Dr. Dan Owen simultaneously teaches evangelists in classrooms in Paducah and Denver. Classrooms are currently being established in Gorlovka, Ukraine and in Panama. More foreign sites will be opened in the future. In fact, he will soon be teaching the Ladies class at Broadway while also teaching students in the Ukraine. Thus, we are exponentially increasing our ability to proclaim the saving message of Christ to all nations.
The Broadway Church is an exciting congregation to be a part of because we are focused on the "fields ripe for harvest." Every soul is precious to God and Broadway.
