Gospel Proclamation -- Local Mission Fields
We recognize that we live in one of the great mission fields in all of the world, full of kind, devout people who are sincere seekers of God. Locally, we train members of the congregation to be teachers who are prepared to speak to people everywhere about the Lord and actually study the Bible with friends, co-workers and acquaintances. Bible studies take place in homes or offices every week. We strive to make disciples and grow God's kingdom wherever we are!
We reach out into the community through our small group ministry, our television program Biblion: Bible Mysteries Revealed, Youth and Children ministries. In fact, we strive to focus every ministry at Broadway on souls because the primary mission of the Lord's church is to proclaim the gospel to all creation. We see every person as a precious soul.
Gospel Proclamation/Evangelism -- Worldwide
Worldwide evangelism is accomplished through supporting missionaries in foreign lands, including Brazil, Africa, the Middle East, India and the Ukraine. In addition, Broadway has a missionary in residency in Dr. Dan Owen who trains preachers and teachers around the world, both in person and by using cutting edge technology. In 2007, Broadway founded the Global Preacher Training Center (GPTC), at which we use videoconferencing equipment to train teachers and evangelists across the country and on the other side of the world from our own building. From Broadway, Dr. Owen simultaneously teaches evangelists in classrooms in Paducah, Denver, Guatemala City and the Ukraine. Our Ladies class at Broadway has participated in weekly classes with students in the Ukraine. We are exponentially increasing our ability to proclaim the saving message of Christ to all nations.
